Friendship is like baking

Most of us know a little about baking. From baking amazing cheese cakes to delicious cupcakes with cute little decorations and creative icing to get our attention.

I was at Keningau for Ryo and Emmy's wedding and decided to stay back a few days to hang out with my buddy Jez and Beau (Wink2). Since I was around, Jez decided to make cheese cake for us to nibble on. It was something new for me since I was only used to baking instead of no-bake.

So here you can see Jez busy pouring the mixture into the pan (mixture which I was aching over to make it fluffy enough)

To cut it short, friendship is like baking. The ingredients needed to bake a cake are like the buddies that we have, without them we could not make the perfect cake. So for me, Friendship is like the cake. To have a delicious cake we need the correct portion of ingredients. Thus to have the perfect friendship, we need the right circle of friends. To all my friends, buddies and besties out there, thanks for being a great friend to me....Love you all with all my heart ... ^o^

Girls and their soft toys

Some may ask "Why are girls so into soft toys?" Well, all that I can say is that soft toys are the most adorable, huggable and cutest friend to have especially in times of needs. I'm a big fan of soft toys especially if they are BIG, SOFT and makes you wanna sequel in delight. (Do you remember the scene in Despicable Me : "It's so FLUFFY!!!!") LOL, that scene always makes me smile coz that is how I feel about soft toys.

I think that girls love soft toys because they are there when we are feeling down, happy, scared or even stressed out. Although they may not be able to talk but at least they can give you that acknowledging look (I had a lil piggy named Herbie: the Understanding pig...^_^....can Jacintut ;) ...) and he has helped me during my Uni years...thanks for being there Herbie...

So girls out there, do find a special soft, fluffy and lovable 'cuddles' to have other than your special person....wink2 ...

Musical Fountain at Tanjung Aru

My fave formation which is a saranghae ( ^_^)

I was lazing around the house and was just about to log onto my FB when my mum pestered me to follow her to see the musical fountain. At first I told her that I was too tired and it was raining outside but in the end I gave in to her request. (Luckily I did go as it was really a sight to fall in love with).

When we got there, people were already pouring out of the venue. We though that it was because there were too many people. However it was because the show has just ended. My mum wanted to nag at me already for getting ready too slow but then I heard someone said:"Ada lagi bah show kedua". I quickly when over to look at the schedule and the next show starts in 10mins. So while waiting for the show to begin, we explored the grounds a bit. There was a spitting fountain where a lot of kids were busy giggling and getting wet because they were excited about the sprouting water (Luckily they did not allow anyone to walk on the fountain but I think it would be more fun in that matter, except for the getting wet part ... lol ...)

My mom told me to check out the drinking water station which was nearby where people can get drinking water for FREE. That's right, its FREE ... ^_^ ... but there is a catch to it...;) Although the water is being "Tapis", the origin of the water is actually from the man-made lake. So can you imagine yourself drinking water that used to be yellowish and exposed??

Finally the show began and it was really breathtaking and worth getting wet for. They played different kinds of music ranging from Dusun to Indian songs, I think they were aiming for the 1Malaysia theme. So if you are interested to catch the show, just head to Perdana Park. The first show begins at 7pm and each show lasts for 15 minutes. There are 4 shows a night. Try to get the best seat in the house k (>_<) Oh and the parking is FOC at the moment until further notice.
Heart the show very much

This is how it looks like before the show begins

For those with dslr, go and have fun ;)

ARe we BEtter then ANImals?

It has came to my attention that sometimes we, the humans, tend to be more sadistic and brutal compared to our furry four legged friends (not forgetting those with tails, fins and scales). I was reading a friends blog " Animal lovers unite! Let's send a dog abuser to hell, shall we?" by blogger of Absolutely Wicked and it hit me. Barbaric people do still exist in this modern society of ours. I really hope that Ba****d got what is coming for him for torturing such an innocent little puppy. He could have just donated Sushi for me if he didn't want it in the 1st place.

Anyway, I noticed that people are more wilder than the animals. How you would say? Well, let me give you a situation:

# Co-workers are willing to lie, cheat and steal when it comes to promotion, recognition and power. They forget about work ethics and friendship to have that goal in their hands. Compared to lions that usually hunt in packs or groups. These lions would still obey their leader even though they are younger and stronger. For you see, experience is more valuable. You won't see a cub trying to catch a large bull for its meal.

Why can't we be like certain animals who does not care about their differences and live in diversity? Most of us have seen pictures of dogs and little kittens sleeping together, or a group of hamster huddling together with rabbits to keep themselves warm from the cold. Some people still think that they are better than the rest of the world which is for me is stupid. Why? Who are we without the friends and family that has shaped and molded us for to be who we are now?

Being humble is not wrong so why should one be ashamed to show it? Can being proud give you the satisfaction of being accepted in society?

2011 has just begun

2010 has given me lots of memories and events. Without them, I would not be who I am now, a better person than I was before.
So for 2011, I hope that it would be nice to me and better yet, let me have lots of fun through out the year ... ^_^

To do list for 2011

1. Make use of my passport and travel with some great friends.
2. Try to be more relaxed at work.
3. Know who my real friends are and appreciate them.
4. Ignore ignorant and incompetent people who think they are better than the rest of us but in truth are worst than us.
5. Be more grateful for the family that I have even though we are not complete.
6. Work in an organized manner.
7. Always bring a recyclable shopping bag with me.
8. Sort out my room to make space for my lil sis. (Yeah!!!)
9. Learn to say NO means NO.
10. Learn new stuff or maybe gain new experience.
11. Capture wonderful pictures with my Camy.
12. Having time to spend with my friends no matter what.

I think that should be enough to last me the whole year.
One thing at a time.
Hope I can make it ... ^_^ ... (fingers cross!!!)

There is always HOPE for the little people....
