Teachers and food

What is it with these two combination? I usually ponder on this new collocation of mine...^_^...Let me explain the rationality of this term. Have you ever walked into a teacher's lounge, where the teachers are always munching or nibbling on something, or maybe they are chatting about their class and students with a hot mug of tea or nescafe in their hands? Well, that's what i see everyday in my school....

Its the month of February with Chinese New Year just around the corner. You know what that means right?.....Kuaci Kuaci Kuaci.....white ones, black ones, red ones even the really salty ones...everyone will be cracking them while waiting for the bell to ring...(sigh, i wished i had a jar of sunflower seeds on my table)

Today we had a little 'makan-makan', complimentary by Kak Rodziah for the 2 February babies...Me and Kak Aisyah...yeah....this week was my side of the teacher's lounge to have some 'free makan'...last week was the other side...(Iwan had a lot of choices of food....but i had some too...^_^...)

Thus my point is, teachers need to constantly eat or nibble on something during their free time, its not always 'whiteboard and markers' you know.....(",)....The next time you feel hungry, feel free to visit the Teacher's Longe.......

Its only the 2nd week of school

Its only the 2nd week of school yet piles and piles of work keeps coming to me. Luckily the Annual Cross country district level has just ended and i was not involved (Amazingly coz usually my name would be on the list).

Planning to start the Oral Test for my Form 5 classes. I cant remember how i had mine. If i was not mistaken, ours had pictures and you had to talk about the pictures. It seemed so easy in the old days.....(Chewah, as if i'm really dat old...LOL) Anyway, my students would try to come up with lots of excuses not to have their turn. I don't know why they are so afraid of speaking in English..They are lucky that they can work in groups or pairs for their Oral Test....

As for Kokum workload, the tasks keep coming and coming eventhough i try my best to keep up with datelines.....can i ask for an assistant?...(^_^)

New Year, New Story?

Happy new year 2010 everyone.....it had been a great year for us back in 2009. with lots of lessons to learn from, hearts broken in pieces, new friends and adventures.

Currently i'm stuck in my room with nothing to do other then going online. Dats the life for me when im back in Kundasang. If Kundasang was like Kota Kinabalu, i could

• go watch a movie
• sit at mcd and observe people as they walk by
• do some window shopping
• eat and be happy

School is about to open and that means my duties will start in full gear (Kundasang style). This year, Ms Alicia will be a bit meaner to the kids.....muahahahahah (evil laugh)

Starting the new year with a new hairdo...(^_^)

Can I be happy with what I have and who i have become? Am I still being myself when someone else wants me to be another? As I take the path of life, barefooted, I have collected many cuts on my feet. I tried to be careful with where i step yet I tend to step on sharp rocks and broken glasses. The cuts may be small but it takes tame for it to heal and patience not to scratch at it

1st day of the week

Today i woke up really early (535am je pun ;p) because i wanted to get to school early to prepare and submit my RPH. I was unable to submit it last week coz was too tired from the camp which was awesome as i made some new friends here in Ranau, Yeah!!!....^_^....

So i took a hot bath, put on make up, curled my hair, check the mirror before i set of for the flight of stairs to school (tinggi tau da tangga p school dr asrama)...Punch in at exactly 632, updated my card for my previous absence and when into the office to look for my RPH and check pidgeon hole for any mails or love letters...lol...

Then my ears caught something:
"Puan, hari ini mula suda pula Excel Ting 6,saya belum ambik kertas jawapan......"
A certain teacher tried to tipu his way out pdhal salah dia wat keja last minute, nasib baik Boss sindir dia blk politely....hehehe....he thinks he can get away wit things juz becoz he is bigger n well built.....(nah m'yimpang sudah si al)...

I was like...."Yeah!!!!...x need to prepare LP for today.....but this week i still have to do for Form 5, normal P&P Boss said....well, at least i don't have to do much talking this week with the Excel Form 4 n 6 going on....horray........

Today jaga exam pun i stapler je my English papers coz i don't have time to waste ody....luckily finish juga today....oh ya, and today Iwan and a few young teachers went 2 2 open house (Raya)..save juga $ for today...heheheh.....

Twisted life

Humans are complex beings who are easily manipulated and influenced by their surroundings. The reason is because they think with their hearts and not with their brains. A lot of us are walking around, looking happy but no one knows that we are actually crying from the inside. I would say that we should be ourselves but how could we when our superiors and peers are watching us like a vulture waiting for its prey to lay dead.

SPP interview 2009

How should i start?

2 days before the interview i was still calm. a day before the interview i managed to cramp in the FPN and PIPP. 2 hours before the interview, i was in a state of confusion. Whatever i tried to read could not be registered in my head....i was so nervous...

I was still busy reading my notes but was already called to register myself...was even told off by the clerk coz i did not come immediately when i asked some1 to get me (not my fault when i'm still not confident) Anyway, this time it was another teacher who got told off for not having complete documents....i was lucky to have Mahali (photocopy man) who is owez harsh to toughen me up a bit...so when the clerk was a bit rough i wat x tau je....;).....

Since the 2 teachers before me did not have complete documents, i was next in line to be interviewed...the 2nd out of 5 for that group...my hands were sweaty, my mind n memory was in a mess, i could not think straight. Even when someone called out my name, i did not pay any attention. The guy asked who the interviewer was while he tidy himself up. So i told him to address da interviewer as 'Yg B'bahagia Datu'....then he told me that we were lucky that we did not get the same Datin. I was blank for a few seconds and asked him what he meant....'Ko tidak ingat saya?kita sama2 bah dulu tu'....then i asked what he forgotten last time...(x wonder 5 org je kami, suma pun yg x lulus interview ari tu....^_^).....Sorry Mr. V but i really did not remember u that time...was trying hard not to cry in front of the Gurangak Clerk yg Prasan Cantik n Pandai !!!!!!......

Anyway, i was so focused with my notes that i ignored Mr. V...(kesian dia but i was busy bah)...then i went into the room to face my interviewer. When i came out of the room, i could feel that a huge burden was lifted off me...i was so happy that it went ok....at least i was able to answer and goreng la....hopefully i did ok la.....Please God help me to pass this interview.....amen....

I managed to wish Mr. V best of luck before he went in for his turn and i went to Ranau for some errands......

then i was called to submit my documents.....(marah jg la coz lum time lg pun)..skali when i got to the clerk, i got the STARE and was asked y i 'lbt2 naik'...i just calmly say dat i was not ready yet....so i gave my documents...(luckily this time everything was complete)
